Kaoru Wada

Born in Japan, Kaoru Wada is a London based pianist with a diverse career as a performer. She trained at the Royal Northern College with Mark Ray, Dina Parakhina and Alexander Melnikov, followed by studies at the Musik Hochschule in Munich as a prestigious DAAD scholar with the late Prof. Franz Massinger. She later studied collaborative piano at Guildhall School of Music where she was awarded a fellowship. She was the recipient of all the accompanist prizes at the Guildhall as well as being a finalist in Das Lied International Competition. She also won the accompanist prize at Bromsgrove International competition. She has performed in many prestigious venues around the world including the Wigmore Hall, the Gewandhaus, Weill Hall and Tel Aviv Performing Arts Centre. She is a staff pianist at the Royal College of Music and Guildhall School of Music and Drama and teaches piano at Eton College.
