Alex Brain

Alex studied the trumpet at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, leaving in 2020 with a distinction in his Masters. He subsequently won a position with the Vratsa Symphony Orchestra in Bulgaria whilst continuing to freelance in London. Alex is a versatile musician who has worked as a guest player with Symphony Orchestras around the UK, has worked as a session player in some of London’s most famous studios, has played on West End shows and has appeared as a guest lead trumpet player with Big Bands including the London Jazz Orchestra and Swing Machine Jazz Orchestra in Somerset. Alex’s Youtube channel ‘Trumpet Brain’ has over a thousand subscribers and has received over 185,000 views.
