Aidan Marsden

Aidan Marsden completed postgraduate studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2020 with support from Help Musicians UK and the Countess of Munster Trust, having previously studied at the Royal Northern College of Music. Whilst at the Guildhall, Aidan performed with the London Symphony Orchestra alongside selected fellow students in Bruckner’s Fourth Symphony, adding to previous professional experience gained with the Hallé Orchestra. As a soloist and chamber musician, Aidan is determined to expand the repertoire for the glockenspiel. June 2019 saw the curation of a recital of new works for glockenspiel and voice alongside mezzo-soprano Rosie Middleton as part of that year’s Culture Mile Festival, resulting in the creation of the Twinkling In The Firmament concert series in January 2020.
